Heather Ward Therapy
Heather Ward, MA, LMFT, PMH-C, is a compassionate perinatal mental health specialist who supports individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood transitions. Trained at the University of Southern California, Heather blends evidence-based and psychodynamic approaches with a warm, collaborative style to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process fears, grief, relationship shifts, and identity changes that often accompany the perinatal period.
Heather’s work centers on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and the complex emotional adjustments of new parenting. She also treats depression and anxiety outside the perinatal context. Heather draws from attachment-based, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-oriented therapies, including training in mindful parenting, to help clients build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and cultivate resilience during emotionally intense life changes.
Known for her gentle presence and practical guidance, Heather is committed to supporting diverse family structures and promoting culturally sensitive, inclusive care for people of all backgrounds.
