Michael Oberle
I believe that you are the expert on your own story.
Creating a safe, warm, and affirming space for clients to come as they are without judgment is of utmost importance to me as a therapist. I want you to feel that you are known, seen, and heard – by entering your story with a sense of curiosity and understanding.
I enjoy working with clients who have specific goals that they would like to accomplish in therapy – but if you’ve never experienced this before or don’t know where to begin, that’s okay too. We’ll work together to find your expertise, implement techniques you can take outside of our sessions, and start to fulfill your dreams.
As someone who has been on the other side of the counseling room, I know firsthand how imperative it is to connect and vibe with your counselor. If I’m not a good fit for you, I’ll refer you to another therapist who might be.
I provide both in-person and Telehealth sessions. My out-of-pocket fee is $125. I am willing to slide my fee to $75 a session in order to meet the needs at hand.
I graduated in August 2021 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University. My practice is informed by a blend of Attachment Theory, Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I’m developing clinical expertise in writing letters for gender-affirming surgery, sexual and gender identity issues, couples therapy, and a variety of mental illnesses.
I’m passionate about empowering people to become who they truly are so that they can achieve the goals and dreams they have for themselves. I also enjoy finding the best taco places around, dancing, traveling the world, and spending quality time with friends.
I’d love to spend time with you and hear your story.
