Are you ready for a change? Art therapy may be right for you. It is not always easy to express our feelings with words alone. There are many challenges life throws at us, but sometimes we can work through them best by doing what comes naturally - creating. In my experience everyone is a born creator. I can help you use art and artistic expression to confront your deepest fears and begin the process of healing. You may be stronger than you think. In the long run, my goal is to help you overcome your barriers and attain a fuller sense of ownership over your life. My specialty is in art therapy, but in many cases I find that art is just a tool to start a difficult conversation, to access parts of yourself that may be blocked off because it is painful to think about. It doesn't have to stay that way. I have seen amazing things happen in therapy. It is why I do what I do. If you are ready to make a change for the better please contact me today.

Have you ever felt like everyone else has life figured out except you? Maybe you're balancing classes, work, family, or relationships while trying to hold it all together. On the outside, you seem capable, but inside you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or wondering why you can't just "push through." You're not alone. Together, we'll slow down, make sense of what's happening, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. As a first-generation college graduate and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I recognize how identity, culture, and lived experience shape our mental health. I'm committed to creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as you are, explore what matters most, and cultivate the self-trust to navigate life's challenges. If this resonates with you, I'd love to connect. I offer free 15-minute consultations where we can get to know each other, discuss your goals, and determine whether we're a good fit. Reach out by email or through our website to get started.
As a psychotherapist, I create a safe space whereby building a relationship, unraveling issues, demystifying oneself, voicing hopes and dreams, and developing wisdom and insight, one can emerge from (and exist in) the forest that is life with a deeper understanding of how to navigate one's mind and the world around us. It is my philosophy that great psychotherapy not only addresses the issues on the table, but also guides one towards greater overall life fulfillment. I have extensive experience is CBT, ACT, psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches working with a variety of populations, mental barriers and social challenges. By developing together the skills of psychological flexibility, I aim to equip you with the skills to successfully endure future hardships on your own in an imperfect world where negative experiences and events are outside of our control. In turn, allowing you to live a life that is gratifying, authentic, rich, purposeful and well-adapted. Aside from my academic training, my psychotherapy approach is also informed by my own queer identity, my multicultural immigrant background, existential worldview, social justice, and the realities of people of working class and low socio-economic experiences. También hablo Español. Please visit francopsychotherapy.com for more information.

Living in Atlanta, I am not able to go to the beach as often as I would like, therefore, I bring the beach into my daily life through relaxation skills, music, décor, and my general mindset. I welcome the opportunity to help you learn how to develop solutions, feel empowered, and create a healthy lifestyle filled with joy, stability, self-acceptance, emotional well-being, and ultimately, happiness.

What would it look for you to live a life that more closely aligns with your values and potential? Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck as we repeat the same self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. We try to cope with the stresses of life, but our coping mechanisms just don't seem to work anymore. Let's face it: life can be really hard at times. But with the help of others, we can take steps towards becoming the people we were created to be. As a therapist, I create a warm environment to help you achieve your goals. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with addiction, depression, and anxiety, as well as those who are simply adjusting to challenging life circumstances and events (i.e., a global pandemic, the loss of a loved one, moving to a new city). In all of these cases, I believe that change and healing take place in the context of relationships with other people, and I would consider it a privilege to cultivate a therapeutic relationship with you as you take steps towards living into your values and potential.

Gen Z and Millennial women are often bombarded with difficult life transitions such as adulting, relationship distress, quarter-life crises, career pursuits, parenting, caregiving, and more. This can be a lot to manage! Societal pressures plus the changing roles of women in this age group require a focused, feminist, and knowledgable approach. It can be tricky searching for the right therapist, so I appreciate you being here in the first place. My approach is fine-tuned, using radical genuineness, to help you learn how to manage these unique stressors while maintaining authenticity and calm. I am practiced in several targeted therapies that meet the needs of women in transition including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). In my personal experience, I have come to view change as the only constant, which is why I find great value in being able to help my clients through significant life transitions. Looking back at the clients I've served over the years, I have been able to find something about every one of them that I admire. I love meeting my clients where they are and seeing how I can support their walk through life in a genuine, non-judgmental, and meaningful way. If this sounds like the right approach for you, feel free to reach out for a phone consult.
I operate from a systems approach, and utilize narrative, solution-focused, and collaborative perspectives in the therapy room. My work is client-centered, and I strongly believe in meeting the client where they are and providing unconditional support during every step of their journey.
