I've worked with families and individuals for over 12 years. My practice focuses primarily on anxiety disorders, grief/loss, life transitions, ADHD and OCD and combinations of those disorders (ADHD +Anxiety or ADHD +OCD). I also treat Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Trichotillomania (and other BFRBs). You may not be sure of how to "label" your experiences in terms of a diagnosis, but I can help you if you are feeling overwhelmed, having intrusive or unwanted anxious or negative thoughts, worry, fear, self-doubt, perfectionism or are are struggling in school or in personal relationships. I weave Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion throughout all of my sessions because I find that these methods provide a strong foundation for change. From there I select evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ERP, Written Exposure Therapy, motivational interviewing and various forms of body-based and expressive therapy techniques (written and visual) to address specific issues. My clients appreciate that I am compassionate, have a good sense of humor and I am down to earth.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. I am accepting new clients who live and/or attend school in Indiana, Colorado or any other state covered by psypact (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap). If you’re a college student navigating stress, anxiety, academic pressures, or life transitions, you’re not alone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, or self-doubt, therapy can provide you with tools to build resilience, confidence, and a greater sense of well-being. College can be an exciting but overwhelming time. Let’s work together to create strategies that empower you to thrive.
At Relational Wellness Therapy, we love working with students who are trying to make sense of life’s in-between seasons. Maybe you’re juggling classes, relationships, and figuring out who you’re becoming, and it’s starting to feel like a lot. You don’t have to have it all together to show up here. Our student clients often share a common goal: they want to feel grounded, more confident in their choices, and at peace with who they are. We help you slow down, understand what’s really going on underneath the stress, and find tools that actually fit your life. Therapy with us isn’t about perfection. It’s about helping you feel seen, supported, and more like yourself.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a transparent and direct style of talking. If you need to talk through stuff, I listen well. If you need to whine, I don't listen well. I am tenacious in coming beside people to help them get the results they're hoping for. I'm not afraid to dig into the hard topics of life with you to help you move forward.
I'm so glad you're here! A little about me: I’ve been working in the mental health field since earning my Masters of Science in Social Work degree with a specialization in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from the University of Louisville in 2011. Over the years, I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting adults through challenges with mental health and substance use. Those experiences have given me the privilege of walking alongside people in some of the hardest and most transformative moments of their lives. I especially enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, whether that’s beginning college, relationship challenges, big life changes like marriage or divorce, experiencing grief or loss, changing careers, experiencing family stress, or facing other big shifts. I have a special passion for supporting people with personality disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, and substance use challenges. I also offer a safe place for LGBTQ+ individuals. My background in crisis work means I’m comfortable meeting you exactly where you are, even if life feels overwhelming right now. My style is conversational, open, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy is a partnership. I’ll bring tools, strategies, and perspective, and you’ll bring your lived experience and goals. Together, we’ll work on building coping skills, practicing mindfulness, learning emotional regulation, and finding new ways of seeing and responding to life’s challenges. You've taken the first step. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to partner with you to create a plan that feels doable and supportive, so you can move toward the balance, healing, and growth you deserve. I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out for help, as living a balanced life requires intentionality and action. I would love to help you move forward from here!

I specialize in working at the intersection of queerness, neurodivergence, and trauma. I am passionate about working with those who belong to the LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent communities, parents, military/veterans, and those with complex trauma. I lead a queer- and neuro-affirming practice. Many of my clients are trans/non-binary, Autistic, ADHDers, and trauma survivors. I currently see adults, adolescents aged 13 and older, and families and partners, including those in polyamorous/CNM relationships. I know you are the expert on yourself; my role is to hold space, offer tools, and be a guide for your healing journey. I use a combination of evidence-based trauma therapies, yoga/mindfulness, and an understanding of your body's response to trauma. I strive to be aware of the impact of systemic oppression and marginalization on holistic health. I use authenticity, creativity, compassion, and humor to create a space where you can feel connection and validation. My goal is to help you feel comfortable getting a little uncomfortable, in order to move into an experience of healing. I am committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for our relationship, where you can engage in self-inquiry and healing in mind and body.
