I am dedicated to providing a safe, empathetic space that encourages vulnerable expression. Together, we can unpack your history and develop a better understanding of your life, which sets the foundation for growth and transformation. Are you feeling lost, stuck, confused, unmotivated, or inhibited in some way? Do you have difficulty coping with stress, anxiety, or negative thoughts? Do you want to explore your past, inner world, and relationship patterns? You may want to change your life, but you're not sure how or what to change. Perhaps you feel like you're not living in alignment with who you really are, or that there's something blocking you from reaching your potential. You may have trouble managing your emotions, thoughts, or relationships. You may want a place to unpack your history and develop a better understanding of yourself. If you relate to any of the feelings above, I can help. When we begin work together, we are going on a journey to discover more about what you already know, and what may be hidden beneath the surface. My practice is a space to explore your whole self: thoughts, emotions, desires, past & present, love & hatred, happiness & pain... With this new awareness, you can begin to change.
You may be entering a new stage in your life, whether it is heading to college and moving out of your childhood home, starting your career, choosing to seek graduate or advanced training, or becoming serious in a committed relationship and starting your own family. You know what you want to achieve, but need additional support in navigating the stresses of setting off on this new path. Or maybe you want help in redefining the roles your family members and loved ones have in your life as you walk towards adulthood in a chaotic world. Maybe you have started your own family and made the decision to become a parent. You may want to parent differently than your parents, but are unsure how. You might be experiencing anxiety around being responsible for a vulnerable new human being. Children can be mirrors, reflecting our own experiences of childhood back onto us. Perhaps past painful experiences of not having your own needs met in childhood are bubbling up and you want to have a safe space to process and explore those experiences. Making lasting change can be difficult for most, and choosing therapy is the first step on the path towards positive growth and change.
With more than six years of experience as a psychotherapist, I specialize in psychodynamic therapy, helping you explore how your past and present experiences shape your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, or a significant life transition, my goal is to work alongside you in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where real growth is possible. My practice welcomes adolescents, young adults, and adults alike. Authenticity is at the heart of everything I do. Meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection, and I strive to create an environment where you feel safe being fully yourself, without judgment or pretense. By showing up with honesty, curiosity, and openness, I aim to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and real understanding. Therapy with me is a conversation, not a cold process. At the core of my approach is a strong, genuine therapeutic alliance because I believe that kind of connection is what makes meaningful change possible. When we work together, I listen carefully to both your words and what lies beneath them, helping you uncover clarity and strength you may not have known was there. For exploring how your past and present connect, I draw on psychodynamic therapy. To give you practical tools for managing anxiety, ADHD, and mood-related challenges, I weave in techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When OCD is part of the picture, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you build distress tolerance and find relief from the cycle of obsessions and compulsions. This blend of insight-oriented exploration and evidence-based tools is designed to support change that lasts. A desire to help others has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. As I moved into young adulthood, that impulse deepened into genuine fascination with the science and philosophy of the mind. Social psychology captivated me, particularly the landmark experiments of Stanley Milgram, and I found myself drawn to the rich landscape of therapeutic orientations, from psychoanalytic frameworks and humanistic psychology to attachment theory and beyond. That curiosity translated into action through internships and professional experiences that shaped me as a clinician. I gained hands-on skills working with adolescents and adults within the child welfare system and in crisis intervention settings. Providing care to patients across a broad range of cultural backgrounds has profoundly enriched my perspective and deepened my commitment to meeting each person with the attentiveness and respect they deserve. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me at the gym, training in Muay Thai, or exploring a new restaurant. I also have a longtime love of voice acting and rarely miss a chance to catch a new film. These passions keep me energized and present in my own life, which I believe makes me a better, more grounded presence for you in ours.
Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task — developing a connection with someone is vulnerable and challenging, but it can be well worth it. I am committed to equipping and empowering my clients with the necessary tools to effectively understand and manage their mental health. In my work with teens and adults, my number one priority is creating a comfortable, person-centered, and safely challenging environment where you can move at your own pace and trust that you will be met with understanding, support, and respect. I provide a trauma-informed, empathetic space to explore difficult prior experiences, without rush or judgment. I am especially passionate about anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, and queer and trans community work. As a proud member of the queer community myself, I understand the importance of LGBTQ+ visibility in the therapeutic space. While I am formally trained in ERP, ACT, and LGBTQ+ centered CBT, I am adaptable in my treatment style and I believe that supporting client needs and fostering the therapeutic relationship is key. To learn more about my practice and treatment style, please feel free to send me an email or schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation.

I understand what a complex and sometimes overwhelming time of life this can be; whether you find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, or difficulty navigating your relationships, I am truly passionate about supporting my clients in their process to gain deeper self-understanding and foster personal growth through self-compassion. I work from a place of genuine curiosity and respect each person’s path as unique. I take a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach, using the information that you present (or, in some cases, avoid) to help you make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be undermining your relationships and productivity.

I strive to help people understand their emotional and behavioral patterns and work towards behaviors that can generate meaning and purpose. The evidence-based therapies that I use help treat OCD, trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, eating disorders, and more. I utilize an empathic and nonjudgmental stance, and aim to compassionately recognize the function of behaviors, and why they might make sense in the past and present. The evidence-based practices I use will include learning skills to help foster more flexible and effective responses to painful and difficult thoughts and feelings. I firmly believe in tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs and goals, and believe our collaboration and therapeutic relationship is essential in this process. My hope is that together we can create a space where you can relate differently to painful thoughts and feelings and create change in their presence.

Together, we can address the questions that dwell at the heart of who you are, and how you became that way — a process shaped by the forces within you and in the world at large. I offer both short-term treatment to focus on a specific issue in your life, or longer-term therapy to delve into deeper issues that impact your relationships or mental and emotional wellbeing. I am in trained in Relational Psychodynamic Therapy and also draw from many years of mindfulness training in my work. My approach is ultimately integrative and tailored to fit your needs.
My clients often come to me feeling stuck. Managing on the outside, but overwhelmed on the inside, whether that's from chronic pain and illness, a major life change, or the pressure of holding everything together. They rarely come looking for someone to tell them to think more positively. They've tried that. They come wanting a space to honestly reckon with what's changed, figure out what still matters, and start building something meaningful from where they actually are. For some, that's anxiety, self-criticism, or burnout. For others, it's rebuilding an identity after chronic pain, injury, or illness changed the life they planned. I work primarily from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framework. The work is less about fixing what's wrong and more about learning to relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, so you can move toward what actually matters, even when discomfort or old patterns show up. I'm a former collegiate athlete and Army Infantry Officer who came to this work after over a decade in corporate and healthcare leadership, including firsthand experience with chronic pain. That background shapes how I show up in the room, grounded, direct, and genuinely curious about what matters to you. Reach out and let's find out if we're a good fit.

As a therapist, I provide evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT and ACT) to women and young adults experiencing a range of symptoms and life stressors. My specialties include depression, anxiety, stress and coping skills, dating and relationships, self-esteem, meditation/mindfulness, and ADHD. My goal is to help people understand why they feel and act the way they do, while helping them navigate this difficult world with compassion, kindness, and grace. It was my own journey of mindfulness and self-discovery that led me to pursue a career as a psychotherapist. Prior to receiving my Master of Social Work from NYU, I was working in international fashion sales. When not doing the work I love, you can find me at a meditation retreat, a yoga class, or cooking up (mostly) vegan treats!
Are you navigating life between two worlds, balancing family and cultural expectations with your own sense of self? Perhaps you're a child of immigrants, first-generation, or someone far from home asking deeper questions about who you are and where you belong. I'm a bilingual (English/Tagalog) psychotherapist specializing in depth-oriented, Jungian therapy. I work with Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, immigrants, and first-generation individuals doing the meaningful, sometimes difficult work of building an authentic identity, one that honors where they come from while making room for who they are becoming. My approach is exploratory and relational. Drawing from Jungian psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic awareness, I work with the unconscious patterns, cultural conditioning, and intergenerational stories that shape your present life. This includes dream work, active imagination, and close attention to the body's wisdom alongside the mind's. If this resonates, I'd love to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — reach out and let's talk. I also offer Walk & Talk therapy for clients in the Cupertino and Silicon Valley area - sessions conducted outdoors in nature for those who find that movement supports their process. Ask me about it when you reach out.
