Does your mind constantly run? Cannot turn it off? Do you worry yourself to sleep or that you are “going crazy”? Anxiety, worry, and over-thinking are common in today’s fast-paced world, but help is available. Counselors give advice. Unsure about what to do? They’ll tell you. This is comforting, but this is not therapy. In sessions, we explore your mind, how it ticks, and how to focus your time and energy on things that matter to most to you. Unlike other theories which focus on labeling thoughts and feelings as “good” or “bad” and attempting to change them, Mindfulness seeks at relating to them differently.

Many of the students and young adults we work best with are in the middle of a transition. They may have just moved away from home, started college or graduate school, begun a new job, or are trying to figure out who they are outside of their family. On the outside, it can look like they’re “doing fine.” On the inside, they often feel anxious, overwhelmed, uncertain, or afraid of making the wrong choices. You might relate if you’re struggling with independence — wanting space from your family but also feeling pulled back by guilt or expectations. Maybe you worry about the future, question your decisions constantly, or feel behind compared to everyone else. “Adulting” can feel harder than anyone warned you about. If you’re navigating identity, relationships, pressure to succeed, or fear of what comes next, you’re not alone. We work well with students who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to better understand themselves — even if they’re not sure where to start.

I'm a trauma therapist offering online therapy to college students throughout Pennsylvania. My specialty is IFS-informed EMDR: EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip on the present, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) brings compassion to the parts of you that learned to protect you in hard times. Together, they let us work through trauma at a pace that feels safe — without having to retell your story over and over. Many of the students I work with are carrying more than a heavy course load: childhood wounds, anxiety that won't switch off, depression, ADHD, or the pressure of holding it all together far from home. Therapy with me is a place where all of that can be looked at without judgment. I believe we can let go of our past and accept ourselves as we are — and that self-acceptance is the first step toward change. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in EMDR (EMDRIA) and trained in IFS (IFS Institute) and DBT, with a master's in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and eight years of practice. Sessions are $185 with sliding-scale spots available, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free 20-minute consultation — reach out and let's see if we're a good fit.

My name is Eve Buck (she/her/hers), and I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I work with individuals and couples living in New York and Pennsylvania at my virtual practice. I completed my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. My previous training includes working with undergraduate and graduate students at the Fordham University counseling center, as well as community practices where I have worked with culturally diverse clients from all walks of life. I particularly enjoy working with young adults and senior adults and have specialized training in therapy for people who identify as Latinx. It is through the experiences and lessons I have learned along my work and personal journeys that I hope to support your path toward overcoming your personal struggles and finding greater fulfillment. I pride myself on utilizing a multicultural approach to therapy while bringing in teachings and principles of multiple disciplines, drawing mainly from psychodynamic therapy among other evidence-based practices. It is this multidisciplinary approach that I believe best serves clients, allowing space for present-minded problem solving as well as exploration into a client’s past, relationships, and emotional experience. Our work together can be tailored based on your life story and experiences and what you hope to gain from therapy. Everyone’s therapy journey is different. Whether it’s working through trauma or beginning a path towards better self-understanding, I strive to provide an open, non-judgmental, and productive space where people can find relief from distressing symptoms as well as develop a stronger sense of self through insight and reflection. Just like each person is unique, each treatment is different and adapted to who you are and what you need. I recognize the wide breadth of human experience and I bring this knowledge with me to best meet your needs. Life can be difficult and confusing, but as your therapist I will be there to empathize with and support you through it.

My name is Dr. Kristen English, and I am a Pennsylvania-licensed psychologist. I work extensively with young- and established-adults, families, and elderly populations. I strive to create genuine therapeutic relationships with clients based on trust and sincerity. We collaborate through curiosity and creativity, as clients and I seek to identify clients' strengths and their inner resources (so often already there, but not yet acknowledged) for navigating life's really tough moments. I utilize a humanistic, strengths-based style while drawing on CBT, psychodynamic, and narrative techniques as I support clients' development of self-worth, flexibility, and self-compassion. We work toward positive growth and change and toward the development of nourishing, supportive relationships. I am currently conducting all sessions through telehealth and am so excited to bring these therapeutic conversations into clients’ homes, apartments, dorm rooms, and work spaces! As an art therapist, I offer a space where creativity becomes a path to healing, self-understanding, and empowerment. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, those healing from trauma, and folks who identify as neurodivergent. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, you're welcome here—exactly as you are. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in the belief that self-expression can be a powerful tool for insight and growth. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist to benefit from art therapy. Together, we use creative processes—drawing, painting, or exploring imagery—as a way to access what words alone may not fully capture. I know that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I aim to co-create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported in moving at your own pace. My hope is that this work helps you reconnect with your inner voice and build emotional resilience. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth and creativity, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.

Some of us hold onto “the hurt” for years and years until it becomes so faint— so normalized— we lose the ability to fully remember what life unburdened by “the hurt” can feel like. As a trauma therapist, my goal is to help you regain autonomy, awareness, and understanding over your life, your relationships, and your path forward. Each and every part of you has played a role in helping you survive “the world as it is.” My goal is to help you discover the slice of “the world as it should be,” mobilizing you towards finding healing community, chosen family, or space where you can flourish— where hypervigilance and fear melt away. I work best with fellow creatives, performers, organizers, underdogs, self-starters, former gifted kids, healers, survivors, and meaning seekers. I’m not easily shocked or appalled— you don’t have to be ashamed of your lived experience, and you are never going to be “too much.” All who are Queer, Trans, -of Color, (Dis)abled, & Neurodiverse are especially welcome. I have seven years of experience in supporting people on their life transitions and mental wellness journey as a life coach & case manager prior to becoming a Licensed Social Worker. I’m been training and practicing with Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy since 2021 for both individuals and couples. I’m also cohort member of the Embody Lab’s next Integrstive Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification for Fall 2025. If you are a survivor of sexual assault or other crimes of a similar nature in Pennsylvania, I may be able to offer net-zero fee therapy under PA’s Victims Conpensation Assistance Program. I’m here for the short-term or the long-haul— your healing journey is in your hands, and you determine the pace and speed we go. If you need someone to press you forward and hold you accountable, I can do that. If you need someone to just “hold space” until you’re ready to do something later, I often do that too. The door is always open. Talk soon? P.S. I unironically and unapologetically LOVE em dashes— hands off, GenAI!
