My name is Zach Engler, and I am a licensed professional counselor based right here in Fort Collins, CO. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and young adults to middle-aged adults who are: looking for change and personal growth, going through life transitions, struggling with anxiety, depression, excessive worry and fatigue, exploring their sexual identity and/or gender identity, struggling with relationship issues, lost and need help finding themselves. The simple truth of the matter is that you don’t need to have a major mental illness to benefit from counseling. My job as a counselor is to help empower you and to work with you to find a solution to the problems you or your family are facing; whether it be anxiety, depression, or school/job related stressors, or you’re having relationship or family issues, I am here to help. Counseling is personal. It is uplifting. And everyone can benefit from it!

I provide meaning-centered counseling for individuals navigating trauma, chronic pain, and long-standing stress. My practice is grounded in the belief that experiences are held not only as memories or thoughts, but also within the nervous system as patterns shaped over time. When appropriate, I integrate body-based tools and insight-oriented approaches, supporting students who may understand their experiences intellectually yet continue to feel trapped in how their body responds. Work is paced, collaborative, and attentive to context, readiness, and lived experience rather than quick symptom fixes. My services are offered through in-person sessions in Frisco, Texas, and via secure telehealth across the state. My private practice is self-pay. For those wanting to use insurance, I also see clients through Legacy Trails Therapy, where select plans are accepted under supervisory billing. This can be discussed during consultation.

I work best with women who are navigating major life transitions and feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. Many of my clients are in seasons like pregnancy, postpartum, early motherhood, or adjusting to shifting roles and identities. They may struggle with anxiety, mood changes, emotional overwhelm, or feeling like they’ve lost a sense of who they are. My clients often care deeply about their families but feel exhausted trying to hold everything together. They may feel unseen, invalidated, or alone in their experiences. They want a space where they can be honest without judgment and begin to understand themselves more clearly. If you’re looking for support that feels compassionate, grounded, and focused on helping you reconnect with yourself, you’re likely a great fit for my practice.

Araceli is trained in both Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), evidence-based approaches that help people better understand and work with chronic conditions such as chronic (unexplained) pain, anxiety, migraines, dizziness/vertigo, IBS, tinnitus, fatigue, brain fog and other stress-related symptoms. These therapies help patients relate to symptoms in a new way—by reducing fear, strengthening the mind-body connection, processing difficult emotions, and helping the brain “unlearn” the patterns that keep symptoms stuck. Araceli’s work focuses on supporting individuals living with chronic conditions to feel safer in their bodies, more emotionally connected, and more empowered in their healing.

My passion is in working with women struggling with relationships and balancing family and other priorities. I use a respectful, direct and collaborative approach in my sessions and believe that interpersonal relationships are a key factor in successfully navigating life. Transitions and challenges can offer us an opportunity to find greater understanding of purpose, more meaningful relationships, and increased confidence and personal gratification. I understand how difficult the process of counseling can be, but I also know the rewards that come from true healing. I am a Christian Counselor who brings extensive expertise in working with women struggling with issues such as marriage struggles, singleness, divorce, anxiety, codependency, communication, infertility/adoption/new moms. I also specialize in helping to navigate struggles with having a child with a diagnosis of Autism and I am a certified PEERS group leader. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor in the State of Texas and have been practicing for 19 years. I received my master's degree in counseling from Dallas Baptist University and also completed a master's degree (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary. I'm also certified to use "Prepare and Enrich" for pre-marital and marriage counseling.

I help college and graduate students who look like they’re doing fine—but feel constantly overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted—learn how to calm their nervous system and regain confidence. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally drained, even if you’re not sure exactly why. You might be dealing with anxiety, feeling stuck or disconnected, struggling with motivation, or carrying experiences from your past that still affect you today. Many students I work with are trying their best, care deeply, and just need a space where they don’t have to hold everything together. If you’re looking for someone who will listen with care, meet you where you are, and help you make sense of what you’re feeling, you’re in the right place. Our work together is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on helping you feel grounded, understood, and more confident navigating daily life. I also support students who are healing from difficult family experiences, spiritual or religious harm, or other painful experiences. These can shape how you see yourself and your relationships, and it’s okay if you’re still figuring things out. Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to say or where to start. We can take things at your pace. If any part of this resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit.

I have over 15 years experience helping people heal from anxiety, traumatic memories, mood disorders, and addictive patterns. Like the willow tree—strong, flexible, and deeply rooted—I strive to help people navigate life’s changes with resilience, clarity, and compassion. Everyone tells you that college is the best time in your life and to enjoy it because it flies by. But what people don’t tell you is all the challenges that it can bring. Maybe it’s the first time you are away from your family and friends from home. It can also bring many challenges with pressure to drink or use drugs, navigating friendships and dating in a more complicated way, and figuring out what you want to do with the rest of your life. You might be in a position where in order to afford school you need to work on top of doing well in all your classes. I know personally how challenging, yet exciting, this time can be, and I am here to tell you that you don’t need to figure it all out on your own or even right now. Are you ready to enjoy your college experience, be fully present in the great moments without feeling stresses weighing you down everyday? It’s time to feel a sense of relief, confidence in who you are, and in your decisions. Together, we can make your life feel lighter and free up space for everything else you have going on! My Approach: I am a strong believer in the power of relationships. Having someone to talk to can increase our sense of happiness and positivity, and most importantly let us know that we are not alone. Life has many ups and downs, but it's what you do with them that matters. I am here to help you transform the tough moments into growth. Therapy with me looks like an open dialogue, where we both respect each other's point of view and collaborate to find solutions that help you overcome what’s been holding you back. We can talk about anything, no matter how hard it is to share. Whether it’s the good things or the bad, I am ready to hold space for even the strongest emotions that come up, because I know we can work through it together. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that not only looks at your thoughts and feelings, but also how your environment, your cultural experiences, close relationships, and health, affect your mental wellbeing. We’ll use a variety of therapeutic techniques to best fit what you need, because therapy is not a one size fits all approach. We’ll make sure that those techniques are really working for you. It might be practicing mindfulness or trying out different coping skills to help things feel less overwhelming. Our approach will continue to grow as our therapeutic relationship develops. I know that therapy is not always easy, but I am here to support you each step of the way and I will always accept you for how you are in that moment, even the hard ones. A Little About Me: I went into undergrad undecided and had a hard time knowing what I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to do something to help people and I wanted a career that I would enjoy. I always felt behind in some way because I didn’t know what I wanted to do right away. I have learned that a lot of people have a unique path to get to where they are. I worked as a school social worker for 8 years before private practice and that is when I really knew I loved counseling and wanted to continue on this path. I have lived in the Chicago area for most of my life and love the city! You can find me by the lake or exploring all the city has to offer. My hobbies are all over the place and include a mixture of baking, triathlons, knitting, going on long walks and finding the best matcha. I also love traveling (but hate flying) and have an ever growing list of places I want to visit.

People come to me when they are looking for ways out of being trapped, depressed, anxious or stuck. I work with individuals who don't know how to be their true selves - it is my mission them find ways to live an authentic and empowered life. I am able to hold a lot of complexity and nuance for a variety of human needs and experiences. Especially close to my heart is working with the LGBTQ+ population, or anyone who feels they don't fit into what society, parents, friends, or others expect of them. I also enjoy existential deep dives and those who feel overwhelmed by their emotional landscape. You are the expert on yourself - my role is to help you uncover who that self truly is, and help you to respond to that self with courage, connection and authenticity.
