Each of us can benefit from additional support. Life can bring unexpected loss, seasons of change, or periods of suffering. Having a consistent space to process your experiences and work toward growth can help you find meaning and flourish. Our therapists are committed to your health and well-being. Whether you are seeking help with challenging life circumstances or desiring personal growth and development, our one-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician offer the valuable support to help you thrive. We intentionally limit the number of clients each therapist works with, to provide you exemplary care and attention. Our therapists practice 100% on Telehealth and we provide you with a HIPAA compliant video link for your sessions. This enables you to complete your session in the comfort of your home and the environment of your choosing. This is tailored for your connivence so that you can incorporate therapy in your busy life.
If you are thinking about entering therapy, I encourage you to follow that call. Therapy can be an incredibly powerful tool in which you can safely explore your past, come into meaningful contact with the present, and ultimately set yourself on a better path for the future. I am passionate about supporting clients in developing effective coping skills to not only survive, but to feel equipped and empowered to thrive in their lives. I am a mental health counselor specializing in anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I offer an integrated approach that emphasizes treating the whole person, drawing from treatments across behavioral, relational, and person-centered models. I believe in meeting clients where they’re at and value each individual’s unique strengths and experiences. The time is always right to prioritize your mental health. We are a team of clinical social workers specializing in yoga/mindfulness, EMDR, and CBT. Our understanding is that in order to truly heal, we must honor our whole-body and mind working together. Many of our clients find that much of their suffering is stored throughout their bodies as anxiety, depression, and stress begin to take over. We support students as they navigate the unfamiliar and sometime daunting transition into adulthood and offer a warm, hopeful guide towards joy and purpose. Our virtual counseling services are available to individuals located in Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Vermont, Maine, Illinois, and California. We welcome you to get to know us, the services we offer, and reach out to schedule session.
Welcome I'm Melissa and I'm so glad you landed here! I work with young adults who are feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges—whether it’s relationship struggles, a constant worry loop that you can't get out of, low mood, struggles with food and body image, or difficulty with change. If you're reading this, you might be feeling out of balance or disconnected from what’s meaningful to you. Maybe you’re not sure what’s meaningful right now. You could be stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you, unsure about your next steps, or just know something feels "off" without being able to explain why. Or maybe you just need a safe space to explore it all. Whatever you're experiencing, it’s all valid—and it’s all welcome here.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of clinical experiences working with young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma. I work with adults of all ages, but particularly enjoy working with college and graduate students. I look forward to hearing from you!

We have all been through times in our lives where we could benefit from talking to someone. At Quiet Mind Therapy Services, we are honored to be that person to you. We truly believe you can get over the difficult time you are having, and gain skills to better manage. Maybe you have been in therapy before, and are tired of focusing on the past? Our goal at Quiet Mind Therapy Services is helping you to move forward and solve the issues, not just talk about them. At Quiet Mind Therapy Services, the therapists and clients all work through and believe in ACCEPT: Acceptance, Commitment, Compassion, Empathy, Perseverance, and Tolerance. These are the core values that make for a strong therapeutic relationship, and allow people to move towards overall wellness. Asking for help is the hardest part, we have all been there. But you deserve it, we all deserve it. We really look forward to meeting you!!
** Telehealth and In-Person appointments.** We all long for our experiences, feelings, and needs to be seen, recognized, and honored. I bring to our work deep respect for your concerns and suffering. I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together which I approach with curiosity and empathy. I am most interested in what your unique experience is, and I aim to listen deeply on our road toward understanding. A safe-enough space will help us to transform your patterns of experience that interfere with your ability to be compassionate with yourself, to build meaningful relationships, and to work and play creatively, in other words, to live a fulfilling life. I am humbled by the complexity of human existence and feel honored to work with individuals from different racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual and gender identities, as well as spiritual and religious affiliations. In addition to my private practice, I am an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School (part-time) and supervise psychology interns and psychiatrist fellows. I served as the co-chair of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology Graduate Student Committee helping young clinicians explore and develop their professional identities.
College can be fun and extremely challenging at the same time. It is a major step in your life and it comes with many new life transitions and independence! Many students I work with experience anxiety, stress, and feelings of overwhelm as they navigate academic pressures, social changes, and personal development. They may also struggle with issues related to self-esteem, identity, and relationships. Students often benefit from a supportive and understanding environment where they can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. My approach focuses on helping students gain clarity, build confidence, and create a balanced and fulfilling college experience. By addressing their specific needs and experiences, I aim to empower students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
No one intends to be in therapy forever. Many clients arrive with familiar worries, yet the deeper concerns beneath those worries often tell a different story. They may say, “I want to fix my anxiety,” “fix my depression,” or “quit vaping weed.” What they’re truly expressing is a desire to flourish, to strengthen their relationships, and to finally move beyond the patterns that keep holding them back. I honor your courage that it takes to pursue meaningful change. As we begin our work together, we draw on a wide range of tools to help you reconnect with yourself and build a life that feels more purposeful, fulfilling, and aligned with who you want to be. Clients leave sessions with renewed hope and practical skills that empower them to face challenges rather than avoid them. You’ll benefit from a therapeutic approach shaped by 15 years of experience and recognized excellence in the field. Reach out today to schedule your complimentary consultation. I guarantee that I'll follow up within three business days.
I am a psychotherapist (LMFT) and earned my masters at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Since graduating, I have worked in community mental health, helping clients on issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships and specialize in grief work. I am trained in EMDR and Complicated Grief Treatment. I opened Sage Hill Therapy with the hope of creating a place where people can work through difficult experiences. I believe that people can grow and that sometimes we need help in that journey. It is important to talk about how diversity, equity, and inclusion impacts us as a community. I work to provide a safe space where people can express and explore the weight of racism, inequality and discrimination. Please call or email me if you are interested in setting up a phone consultation.
